I'm Dannie French

10.00AM:
We will kick off with a brief introduction about your Soul Sync journey and what you can expect for the day ahead. We will cover the principles of Yin Yoga and how to get the most out of your practice for greater overall wellbeing.

10:30AM:
Relax and unwind your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies as you surrender into a 90 minute Yin Yoga and blissful meditation experience with Dannie - which reduces stress & anxiety, increases circulation & flexibility, calms the nervous system and brings you back into balance.

12.00PM:
Break Time - To enjoy a yummy light snack and bathroom break if you need.

YIN YOGA FAQ's
WHAT IS YIN YOGA?
Yin Yoga is a wonderfully relaxing and meditative style class that is sure to dissolve all the tension from your body and mind. It is a traditional practice that is more of a gentle and passive 'stretch' style class. Yin Yoga works deeply with our connective tissues and fascia within the body through poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine.
You can expect to move through a variation of 'stretch and release' style poses with longer holds that help the body to release & lengthen tissues within your body. Yin classes aim to improve your overall mobility, flexibility and provide relief to over worked, tired or tight muscles. A perfect combination with any strength based practice and those with tightness in their mind or body who would love some relaxation in their life.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A YIN YOGA SESSION?
To begin we will start with a seated meditation to ground ourselves into the space and prepare the mind for our practice. After ground into the space, we will do a gentle pranayama (breathing) technique to relax the nervous system further. Then it's time to move into our yin yoga practice where will be holding our poses for 3 minutes each. Finally we will end the session with the most important part, integration. We integrate by lying down on your back on our mat in Savasana (Corpse pose), where you will be guided through a relaxing meditation. Roughly this session will take around 90 minutes.

IS YIN YOGA BEGINNER FRIENDLY?
YES. This Yin Yoga sequence is created with beginners in mind and poses can also be modified to suit any level.
IS YIN YOGA PREGNANCY FRIENDLY?
YES. This Yin Yoga sequence can also be modified to suit mothers who are pregnant.

WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Breathwork is exactly what it sounds like, manipulating the breath to consciously change breathing patterns to alter your state of being. Working with the breath might be one of the most underrated techniques in our self-care toolbox.
The breath is your most powerful tool to keep you grounded and connected in your physical body as you navigate through the shifts, challenges and changes of life. When we consciously connect the breath, we get to feel into deeper parts of ourselves. Revealing what lays in our unconscious to our consciousness.
Through Breathwork, old patterns can be revealed and broken to make room for new habits, relationships, and abundance. Conscious Breathing has the potential to transform the quality of your life on every level.

WHAT DOES A BREATHWORK SESSION INVOLVE?
The Breath Melissa teach is heart-based, circular breathing. Although the breathing rhythm is very gentle, the session can be very powerful.
Through conscious connected breathing you accumulate life force which starts to move freely through your body (experienced as tingling, energy rushes or waves). This loosens up stored blockages held in your four-body energy system (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual), thus working on all four levels at the same time.
Experiences may vary every time. They range from physical sensations of pain or pleasure, to the release of body blockages and deep emotions. All of which we can dissolve to bring us back to a place of peace – even bliss.
The breathwork session is done laying down in a relaxed position.
A full session takes approx. two hours and includes:
+ Time to learn the breathing technique
+ The opportunity to explore and set intentions for your Breathing session
+ A full hour of guided breathing
+ Time to integrate and debrief the breathing experience with me afterwards

WHAT IS A CACAO ACTIVATION?
Cacao has been used for centuries as a “plant medicine” due to its heart opening qualities and wide-ranging health benefits, and when grown and consumed consciously, carries a vibrational quality that opens us up to a higher level of healing. Cacao ceremonies bring us together to share an intention, and by consuming ceremonial grade chocolate, we can activate and allow a deeper state of being.

WHAT CEREMONIAL CACAO IS NOT:
HALLUCINOGENIC OR PSYCHOACTIVE. Some have made claims that cacao can function as a neurological drug similar to cannabis or other mind-altering plants. But while cacao does have certain compounds in common, they’re either in microscopic trace amounts or aren’t processed by the body in the same way.
Cacao WILL NOT alter your state of consciousness in any way.
